Description
The blue grape variety Cabernet Cortis is a PIWI ( Pilzwiderstandsfähige ) variety, which means it has been developed for its fungal resistance. This means it does not require spraying in the same way as traditional grape varieties.
The bud burst time is medium and the frost resistance is very good. The leaf wall grows upright with few side shoots and tendrils, which makes it easy to work with. The ripening time and harvest for the grapes is relatively early and with the thick grape skin the incidence of rot is low.
