Description
This green grape variety is Sweden's most planted grape variety right now and is called the "Swedish grape" because of its frost resistance, rapid grape ripening and fungal resistance.

Harvesting
The bunches are medium in size and relatively loose, which provides some protection against mold. The grapes are medium to large and the harvest is even.

Cultivation site
This grape variety requires planting in a well-planned location with good conditions and in slightly warmed soils; avoid high clay content which is usually colder.

The wines
Medium to full-bodied, works equally well as a crisp white or a more robust oak-aged wine. Well suited to making still wines, used in blends and as a sparkling wine.
