Early Pinot Noir/Late Pinot Noir

Description
This grape variety, cloned from the classic Pinot Noir, requires commitment. From the choice of location and preparation to care and winemaking, but also produces some of the noblest grapes and wines.

Harvesting
Dense, small clusters of grapes with small, round grapes make this grape variety less resistant to various forms of rot. The harvest is low, however, the must weight is higher than for the classic Pinot Noir. The acidity is also lower in the Précoce clone.

Cultivation site
This grape variety requires planting in a well-planned location with really good conditions. Plant in slightly warmed soils, avoid high clay content which is usually colder.

The wines
Velvety, full-bodied red wines with clear character and expression. Also suitable for making sparkling wines and richer rosés.
